Summer fun

We have had a busy summer so far and it will continue for the next few weeks! I love summer so much but I am looking forward to Fall because of FOOTBALL!!

Smoothies with friends are the best! We normally make smoothies about once a week, it's really to get rid of the soft fruit but it's always a fun time!!

Fun times with friends in the yard! This poor slip n slide was put to rest this day! The big "boys" had a turn then the poor slide started to deflate! Good thing we got a lot of use out of it!

Now this was so funny! I had the fridge open to get something and turned around and Pierce was in the fridge. When he came out he had a huge french fry in his mouth. Somehow he had gotten in there and grabbed some goodies from a to-go box. Patrick thought it was the funniest thing ever!

I asked Patrick to go to the store with me on Sunday. He is normally in his undies for some reason so I told him to get dressed. Above is what he picked out. Nothing at all like what I would have put him in. He was very proud of his decisions.

And this is Patrick's baby clementine. He thought it was the coolest thing ever! He kept telling me his orange had a baby!

This weekend we are off to the mountains with some friends then next thursday it's off to White Lake! I am going to need some time off work to recover from all our vacations:)

Anything you can do......

I can do too! I think that's Pierce's motto. This child thinks he is as old as his brother! Can you find Pierce?

Lake fun...

We had a blast at the Sugar Shack AKA Sugar and Pappy's! We started the weekend off with a nice paddle boat ride. It was nice but Pierce hated all life jackets we put on him!

Then some friends came over for a boat ride and some fishing. The little boys hat a blast until it was potty time:)

Then we did at litte more fishing! Patrick ended up catching about 5 fish total. And only fell in once! Haha

The town on Greenwoood SC was having an annual BBQ festival and also had some fun things for the kids to do. The food was great but it was super hot.

We also played with some fun 3D chalk that Patrick and I both loved.

Over all it was a great weekend. The boys are actually still there and will be home Tuesday evening. Matt and I went to Saluda's downtown last night for a date night and it was yummy!!  I miss my boys so much but it was nice to sleep in a little this am and only worry about getting myself ready!

The next Masterchefs.....

Mimi came up on Sunday for a surprise visit. She went to church with us, had lunch, then naps, daddy grilled steaks and then we baked a cake! The boys loved icing the cake but Pierce really wanted to eat it. We all had a piece and some milk! What a great day!

Our week in review

 We have had a great holiday weekend and week!! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!

Pierce's Party

Well Pierce's 1st birthday bought some heat! The tempature at 11:00am was 101. It was crazy hot but we still had some fun!! Nice to have family and friends to clelbrate with us!!
